# Required field error

 * I select to make a field required. When I see it on the live site a white box
   appears and it does something odd with the text. Please could you give me some
   advice on this.

   you will see the mandatory fields have a white box over the text.

 * Just switch to labels on top and it will be fine.

 * Check the setting “Reset the styles to labels on top (default)”, then click Update
   Options. Now view your form the changes should be automatic and visible instantly.
   Sites with page cashing plugins enabled may not change instantly.

 * Hello this seems to still be the same. Could you please take another look, I 
   have flushed my DNS and cleared my cache.

 * Your theme CSS is doing that, I do not know why. You can ask the developer who
   made the theme.
