Required Field not working

    Hello,

    I have a login form with email, password and a custom field (checkbox) “terms and conditions”. The user should have to check this field to login. I have set the required option to yes but this has no effect. The user can still login without confirming the checkbox (there is also no error message).

    Can you please help me.

    Hi @developeratworx,

    The default UM login form only has username/email and password fields as it is common practice with websites to only show T&C on registration form. This may require customization on your end.

    Hello!

    Thank you for your answer and I understand your point.

    But when I create a new/custom login form and add email, password and an additional field which the user has to fill in (what should be possible with the option “Is this field required?”), why doesn’t it check (technical) if this field is required in the frontend?
