# “Required metadata missing”

 * I am using Imagify and finding it useful. For about 15% of my images, however,
   I get an error message: “This media lacks the required metadata and can’t be 
   optimized.” Those images are not compressed.
 * These images are no different from others (same phone camera, no alteration of
   EXIF), and sometimes if I re-upload the image, I don’t get that error.
 * It is bothersome to have to re-upload the images. Is there something I can do
   to avoid this problem?
