Required wysiwyg paragraph bug

    I just added my first ever custom post – ‘User Review’.
    One of the fields is the content of the review of type ‘wysiwyg paragraph’.
    When adding a new review, I inserted textual value into the paragraph, but the ‘Required’ validator kept failing. I tried reloading and deleting browser history and that did not help, no matter what I do it considers the field empty.

    How to overcome this issue without removing the ‘Required’ checkbox from the field?

    If there is more than one field marked as required, all fields need to be filled for save to occur.

    If only the one field is required, but it is not passing validation when filled out, verify there are not other plugins conflicting with the save behavior.
