 * Hello,
 * Is there a way to clear the data of last 30 days?

 * Currently, there’s not. The reason is we decided early on that Stream should
be an immutable audit log. For example, if we added the ability to clear data,
Stream wouldn’t help with knowing what a hacker has done on your site.
 * We’re releasing a new version of Stream in the coming weeks, which, although
it doesn’t have that particular feature, will be easier to extend with an add-
on plugin. This feature is definitely something which could be added.

 * Thanks for the prompt reply Luke.
 * One last question. I used stream when working on a project initially and when
handing over to client wish to clear all things. Most probably I would delete
the plugin as it’s not needed but in case we install it in future, will the old
   data be visible again?

 * Well, Stream works by connecting to your WordPress.com account. If you connected
it using your own account, you can reset the data by disconnecting, then reconnecting
to your clients WordPress.com account. That would keep Stream logging (which
is very handy if the client breaks something), but not show any of your previous
   history.
 * If you were to reconnect with your own account later on, your previous history
would be shown, but not the clients. Keep in mind, though, that Stream only logs
   3 months worth of data.
 * All this advice will be changing shortly, though. So stay tuned.
