# Resolving Posts

 * How is it that a post gets marked resolved when it is NOT resolved.
 * And shouldn’t the author of the post determine if the issue is resolved, and 
   be the only one to mark it resolved or not.
 * Isee many posts that say resolved, but when you go into the post the original
   poster did not resolve the case.

 * the original poster is the only one who can mark something as resolved
 * what you find is the op resolves it – then other folks pile on with their problems
   instead of starting a new thread
