 * Hi,
 * I’ve checked the boxes for the autoresponder and have filled in my e-mailaddress,
   but it’s not sending confirmation e-mails and also not an e-mail to me that there
   is a new registration.
 * Any idea where I should look to fix this?

 * If the registrations are listed in the dashboard then the email was sent. It 
   could be that your host blocks wp-mail.
 * I’ve just checked on my test site and both the notification and autoresponder
   messages arrived.

 * The registrations are listed but e-mails are not sent.
    I’m now sure it has to
   do with my site/provider. I’m checking with them first. Sorry to have bothered
   you with this.

 * My provider suggested to install the plugin WP-Mail-SMTP and this has fixed the
   issue.

 * I been considering adding an SMTP option to the plugin – which will mean one 
   less plugin for your site.

 * But I’d also considering finding a new host, if they are blocking wp-mail one
   wonders what else they are doing.

 * They’re not blocking it, but they say it gives you a better ‘spamscore’ if you
   use a plugin.
    (And I’ve been having major issues with spamscores lately.)
