# Response cannot be null

 * My WordPress site ([http://bagapreta.com.br/](http://bagapreta.com.br/)) is not
   able to backup via this plugin.
    Once it has been installed I just got the message“
   Response cannot be null” for anything that I try to do in WPB2D menu. I can’t
   even configure it. Did anybody face this issue? Thanks

 * This is is because cURL curl_exec is returning null for some reason.
 * This could be because your sever is behind a proxy or firewall and does not have
   an outbound connection to the internet.
 * Can you install plugins without having to upload them?

 * Currently I don’t need to upload plugins manually to install them. I just have
   to click Install.
 * Do you think that my problem can be related to the issue listed bellow?

 * That could be the problem.
 * If your host is blocking cURL then you cant use WPB2D.
 * Can you shoot them an email to find out?
