 * Hey, tnx for the plugin.
 * I accidentally deleted a cross-posted post on Tumblr and now I can’t gt it back
   or re-posted. Every time I Update/Republish that post I get this:
 *     ```
       Crossposting to Tumblr failed. Remote service said:

           Response code: 401
           Response message: Not Authorized
       ```
 * Is there a way to get that post back on Tumblr?
 * Tnx, Remco.
 * Yes, delete the `tumblr_post_id` custom field from your post. This will be visible
   in the Custom Fields meta box of any cross-posted entry. If you do not see the“
   Custom Fields” meta box, make sure you have enabled it in your [Screen Options](http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/).
 * When you delete that value, Tumblr Crosspostr thinks it has never cross-posted
   that post before and will create a new one, giving it a new Tumblr ID. When you
   erased the old post, Tumblr Crosspostr kept trying to edit a post on Tumblr,
   which no longer exists, and so 401 Not Authorized is the expected and correct
   response in such a situation.
 * This is one reason why it’s wise not to use the Tumblr editing interface if you
   don’t need to. And, with Tumblr Crosspostr, the point is: you don’t need to,
   so, y’know, don’t. 😉
 * Cheers,
    -M
 * tnx for the quick reply and solution.
 * And yes, I’m gonna use only WordPress to edit posts. But I just started to use
   TC and was playing with the possibilities.
 * Gr, Remco.
 * I did this as well, but I deleted the `tumblr_post_id` **field** and not the
   value. I added a custom field called `tumblr_post_id` and then removed the value,
   and now I get a 401 no matter what I do. Any suggestions? Thanks.
 * In case anyone made the same mistake that I did above, I fixed it by disconnecting
   and then reconnecting the plugin WP.
 * Settings > Tumblr Crosspostr > Disconnect…Then reconnect
 * Works great now.
