 * Hi!
   I’ve updated everything according to the latest rules (all the DNS changes
   were marked working etc) but I can’t send a preview or save the newsletters I’ve
   been working on. When I press preview I get: “An error has happened while performing
   a request, the server has responded with response code 403”. In the system overview
   no errors are shown, however. When I try to press “save” I get: “The email could
   not be saved.Please, clear browser cache and reload the page.If the problem persists,
   duplicate the email and try again.”
 * I’ve cleared caches and also tried switching off my security plugins but it’s
   all the same. Any other suggestions?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fresponse-code-403%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello there [@klxhzm](https://wordpress.org/support/users/klxhzm/)
 * Thank you for reaching out and I apologize for the issues you’ve been encountering.
 * **Issue 1: Error Code 403**
   The error code you’re getting seems to suggest that
   your website might be using an outdated version of jQuery. Currently, Mailpoet
   recommends using jQuery 3.6.0 and only supports 2.2.4+ or 1.12.4+. Thus, an update
   to your jQuery version could potentially fix this issue.
 * Alternatively, as a less recommended option, you could roll back to an older
   version of MailPoet.
 * If you are already on a recent version of jQuery and still encounter the error,
   it might be due to ModSecurity being enabled, which could block requests. In
   this scenario, we suggest reaching out to your hosting support to check if ModSecurity
   is enabled.
 * **Issue 2: The Email Couldn’t Be Saved**
   For the issue you’re facing with saving
   the email, there are several possible solutions, which are detailed in this [article](https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/378-how-to-fix-the-the-email-could-not-be-saved-please-clear-browser-cache-and-reload-the-page-error).
   In summary:
    1. Use a different browser or clear your browser cache if you haven’t yet tried
       a different browser.
    2. Check if your site has adequate disk space on the server.
    3. Verify if custom HTML has been copied into your email.
    4. Confirm your admin user has proper write permissions.
    5. Given that you’ve already tried disabling your security plugins, check with
       your host to see if they have set up a firewall that could cause this error.
 * I hope these steps assist you in resolving the issues you’ve encountered. Please
   do not hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.

 * Yeap, turning down the firewall in the hosting helped.
   Thanks for your time and
   support!
