 * In the last several weeks we’ve been experiencing a significant delay when someone
   submits an RSVP response. This has caused folks to submit twice or even three
   times.

 * Sounds like a server performance / capacity issue. That’s not to say my code 
   couldn’t be at fault somehow for using too many resources, but I haven’t gotten
   other reports of this issue.
 * Is there anything particularly fancy about your events setup, beyond the base
   event signup functionality?

 * I’ll have to dig on my side and see if the server is the issue or not.
