 * Im using the responsive addon with tablepress, but it is inserting extra P tags
   underneath it. You can see it in action under the table with the blue header
   here [https://www.usbets.com/illinois-sports-betting/](https://www.usbets.com/illinois-sports-betting/)
   also here [https://www.usbets.com/pa-online-sports-betting/](https://www.usbets.com/pa-online-sports-betting/).
   How can I stop that from happening? THanks!

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * From everything I know, this is being done by WordPress (in particular, the `
   wpautop()` function), which is used to generate the HTML code.
    Are you using
   the block editor? If so, I recommend using the Shortcode block and enter the
   Shortcodes there. This should not have this behavior then.
 * Regardless, are these extra `<p>` tags causing any trouble?
 * Regards,
    Tobias

 * Well it makes a big white space around the content which is not ideal. I tried
   to make autotop stop working but it didn’t work for me. Anyhow, thanks.

 * I ended up using the css :empty property to not display empty p tags.
