# Responsive/DataTables functionality not working

 * Hi Tobias!
 * I’m having a weird issue with a table on my site.
 * The responsive extension had been working for a long time, but I randomly checked
   up on it about a week ago and it was appearing how it currently looks – stretching
   into the right sidebar.
 * I have enables the “use DataTables” checkbox on the table’s page, and added the“
   responsive=collapse” functionality. I also looked at the page source and found
   nothing by searching “datatables” so it may be missing the script entirely.
 * Help!

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * Can you please try clearing the cache of the Autoptimize plugin that you are 
   using? From what I can see, when that is temporarily deactivated using a URL 
   parameter ([https://colindorman.com/french-horn-mouthpiece-chart/?ao_noptimize=1](https://colindorman.com/french-horn-mouthpiece-chart/?ao_noptimize=1))
   everything is working fine.

 * Thanks for that. I did try clearing the cache, but for whatever reason the Autoptimze
   plugin is not clearing it working correctly.
 * something in the Automptimze (or other) plugin. Thanks for the diagnostic help!

 * you might have to exclude tablepress from JS or CSS optimization.

 * yes, excluding the TablePress JS files might be worth a try here.
