 * The slideshow looks great when viewed on different devices except for the description
   overlay. When viewed on a mobile device, the description overlay takes up 3/4
   of the photo and the font is still huge. Is there a setting to make the slideshow
   descriptions responsive?

 * You could use [CSS media queries](http://css-tricks.com/css-media-queries/) to
   make the slideshow’s font responsive. In the [FAQ section](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/faq/)
   you can read how to create a custom stylesheet for your slideshow.
 * The slideshow’s font size is based on your theme’s font size, adapting the font
   size in the theme would also adjust the font size in the slideshow.

 * So, in other words, responsive descriptions are not incorporated directly into
   the plugin and won’t be in the future?

 * That’s correct. I’m sorry.
 * The slideshow simply can’t calculate what text-size would be readable on different
   kinds of devices. Anything that looks good in a WordPress default theme, could
   look horrible in a different theme. That’s why it’s best to leave this to the
   designer to decide.
