    Hi,

Please have a look at the tutorial: https://meowapps.com/wp-retina-2x-tutorial/. Especially the part about “Deliver Retina Images”. There are mentions also exactly about your issue 🙂 It’s the way it is, logo are rarely using the Responsive Images system. You need to manually fix the logo, and use the Responsive Images method (for performance reason).

For the logo, I suggest to use custom CSS with Media Queries to handle CSS for it. Unfortunately, that’s something the plugin can’t do automatically.

    Hey @tigroumeow,

The sandbox install expired, so unfortunately I don’t think you had much context as to what the issue was. Here was my testing process:

    – Created a brand new WordPress instance using the default Twenty Twenty One theme
    – Installed Perfect Images
    – Uploaded two images; filename.jpg and [email protected]
    – I inserted the image on a page via a Gutenberg image block

When viewing the page on the front-end, the retina image didn’t load when using the “Responsive Images” method. If I switched the method to Picturefill, then it loaded the 2x version.

Is there any reason why Responsive Images wouldn’t be working in that scenario?

    Hi @sunnyt13,

In fact, I don’t 🙂 Normally, that should work perfectly fine. I have a question though; why do you upload two files? You mean you uploaded a Retina image for Full Size, through the Perfect Images Dashboard?
