 * I set the responsive blocks for smaller width views but the header / footer plugin
   doesn’t retain the changes. For example, at wide width (desktop) there is a two
   column block. At small width this should change to a single column, two stacked
   rows. I save it and it works, and later I check and it reverts, so I have to
   go back in and resave the block.

 * Hi [@mindfullworks](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mindfullworks/) ,
   Thank
   you for your kind patience with this. Sorry for the delay in replying you here
   on this one.**_About your reported issue_**:Yes, I understand your concerns about
   this, but I would like to be more clear on the same as it is all about the appearance
   and looks of the theme that you are using on the site, which could be different
   according to the individual site’s needs. In addition, the site’s appearance
   on mobile devices also mainly depends on the theme’s responsiveness first.However,
   our product is completely open-coded and you can make changes to the requirements
   anytime. If you are good at CSS scripting skills, then such changes are easy
   for you to achieve. In addition, you can add your own custom CSS also to get
   your required layout and appearance.I would like to give you some guidance on
   the ideal process for your reference:Here in this case, you will need to add
   some additional custom CSS to that way. Kindly add the CSS on your site in the
   Additional CSS tab by following the below instructions and let me know how it
   goes.Here is a detailed idea on how you can add the custom CSS code into your
   site easily:[https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-easily-add-custom-css-to-your-wordpress-site/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-easily-add-custom-css-to-your-wordpress-site/)
   Also, about the file(s), below tutorials can be helpful:[https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-find-which-files-to-edit-in-wordpress-theme/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-find-which-files-to-edit-in-wordpress-theme/)

   In your case, you just need to find-out the relevant CSS classes and then you
   can add your own styling/color accordingly.Kind Regards,Umar

 * CSS has nothing to do with it. The blocks are not updating after saving them.
   I’m not sure how that wasn’t understood. Making a change and saving a block does
   not update the piece throughout the site.

 * Hi [@mindfullworks](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mindfullworks/) ,
 * In that case, before going ahead, please ensure that you have done a few basic
   tests from your site OR not yet at any of your sites. In that case, have you
   tested for any conflicts with the proper steps as explained below along with
   the basic troubleshooting?
 * I can see, you have mentioned that you already tried by deactivating all plugins.
   Please see the instructions below for how to do this and take a look once again
   for your reference, check if you have missed anything in the process:
