# REST Api

 * hi,
    I tried the free version of Maintenance Mode by SeedProd and as it works
   pretty well for the page itself, it also shuts the REST api down. So as I request/
   wp-json it does not serve content anymore but asks for authentication, which 
   is not the case without maintainance mode.
 * Now, is there a change (including the PRO version) to enable REST while in mainainance
   mode?

 * Yep you can exclude that in the pro version. Please email [support@seedprod.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/rest-api-29/support@seedprod.com?output_format=md)
   and I can provide more details. We can not use the form for pro version support.
