# Restore Problem Extracting

 * I have been trying to restore a backup however I get to step 3 and receive:
    
   Could not extract /var/www/vhosts/DIR/-backup-2013-07-29.zip to to /var/www/vhosts/
   DIR/
 * Could anyone explain how to resolve this problem?

 * Gday mate,
 * This could be due to file system permissions on your server. If simple restore
   does not work “out of the box”, at the moment, the best option is to revert to
   a manual restore.
 * I will be working on a new plugin to replace simple restore in the coming weeks.
