 * Is there any way to restore the wp-content folder If I deleted the wp-content
   folder by the wp-file-manager plugin? Is that folder available in the cPanel
   trash?

 * Dear [@habibjh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/habibjh/)
   We hope you are
   doing well.
 * To restore your deleted folders and files, you can utilize the cPanel interface.
   First, log in to your cPanel account, and then navigate to the cPanel file manager.
   At the top of the file manager, you will find the “View Trash” option, which
   allows you to restore the deleted files/folder.
 * Alternatively, if you have a backup of your website, you can restore the contents
   of the wp-content folder using the backup/restore option provided by the wp-file
   manager.
 * To prevent such situations in the future, we recommend using the backup feature
   of the file manager plugin.
 * If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach
   out to us.
 * Best regards,
 * Support Team

 * Hi [@habibjh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/habibjh/)
   Note: if you have
   not taken any backup from the file manager before deleting the wp-content folder
   then you won’t be able to restore it from backup/restore option.Please feel free

 * Hi [@filemanagersupport](https://wordpress.org/support/users/filemanagersupport/),
   [@filemanagersupport](https://wordpress.org/support/users/filemanagersupport/)
 * I don’t have any backup from the file manager plugin. I have a last question,
   please answer me.
 * Are those deleted file/folder will be available in the cPanel trash folder? I
   mean, if I delete any file or folder by the File Manager plugin will those files/
   folders be removed forever or just send to the cPanel trash folder?
 * **NB.** I deleted all files mistakenly but the plugin should prove me a confirmation
   warning before deleting a file/folder. But I didn’t get any warning. All folder/
   file was selected on the wp-content folder. All file/folder has remove without
   any confirmation as soon as I press the delete button mistakenly.

 * Dear [@habibjh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/habibjh/)
 * We understand the frustration you’re experiencing, and we empathize with your
   situation.
    1. We want to clarify that the WP file manager always displays a warning before
       deleting any file. You can refer to this screenshot for reference: [[https://tinyurl.com/26vvolaf](https://tinyurl.com/26vvolaf)]
    2. Regarding the availability of data in the cPanel trash, we cannot provide a
       definitive answer. We recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to inquire
       about the trash option. They have access to your cPanel and can provide information
       on whether there is a backup available in their data center. It would be beneficial
       to discuss this option with them.
