# Restore WP site problem, wrong database problem?

 * Hi,
 * I have changed from hosting and I have travel getting my site running.
    The home
   page is perfect, everything works perfect there.
 * But when I want to go to a page or link, I get this error:
 * Not Found
    The requested URL /collection/ was not found on this server.
 * Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request.
 * I think it is a database problem. I had to change the wp-config.php to the new
   database name. That worked.
 * I did a clean install of WP, and then changed all the files whit the one of the
   back up. The back up, was made with softaculous.
 * I removed the data of the new PhP database, and imported the one of the back 
   up.
 * What can I do next? Or how should I do it, it is like I am missing the links 
   to post and pages…

 * I have found the problem…
 * It was in the .htaccess file. The new installation created a new one. An empty
   one!
    The new file, I replaced with the old one, and the site works now…
