 * Hi everyone,
 * I mistakenly deleted an important plugin and would like to restore my backed
   up version in order to get this back. Is this possible?
 * When I attempt to restore the plugins by just uploading the files from my computer,
   it ends up just deleting my current list of plugins, which at this point just
   include updraft plus. So then I have to install and activate updraft plus again
   and attempt the process all over again.
 * However, when I choose to click on the restore button and then select the plugin
   check-in box, it will sometimes during the restoration process just timeout and
   I will have to exit the page to start over. One time after waiting I got as far
   as being able to upload the plugins but then have way through it failed due to
   this error, Invalid archive structure Error data.
 * Has anybody had similar issues when dealing with restoring from updraft plus?
 * Thank you for your help,
    Lukas

 * Hi Lukas,
 * From your description, it appears that the process has been timed out or killed
   off by your server. The most common cause for this is due to your server being
   overloaded.
 * To resolve, please ask your hosts/server admin to increase the limit (I/O limit,
   maximum_execution_timeout and site memory) or ask them to investigate their PHP
   error logs. These logs should contain more information on the exact issue that
   is causing the backup process to halt.
 * If that is not possible, you can manually restore the plugins by extracting the
   plugins.zip and upload it to “wp-content” via FTP/cPanel File Manager. We have
   a complete guide for manual restoration here – [https://updraftplus.com/faqs/i-want-to-restore-but-have-either-cannot-or-have-failed-to-do-so-from-the-wp-admin-console/](https://updraftplus.com/faqs/i-want-to-restore-but-have-either-cannot-or-have-failed-to-do-so-from-the-wp-admin-console/).
 * Best Wishes,
    Bryle
