Is it possible to restrict the Config auf the Tool to certain roles in backend? We do not want our authors to be able to change anything on post level

@henrikki what you can do at the moment is to only allow full access to the plugin to certain users (e.g. yourself). This way, users that are not on the list, will not view the CSS/JS manager from the edit post/page view. Some developers that have admin rights prefer this option so the other admins (e.g. the website owner that mostly deals with adding/editing WooCommerce products) that will not view the CSS/JS manager in the edit product page, thus it will not confuse them and they will not make any updates there by mistake.

You can find this option in “Settings” — “Plugin Usage Preferences” — “Allow managing assets to:”. The access is not set by role, but only for certain administrators. The subscriber role (just an example), will never see the CSS/JS manager anyway as access to such an area should be given to users with admin rights. I hope it helps!
