 * Hello, I am using a themes by elegant themses called Divi. The builder allows
   my to use modules to build, and I am able to restrict content if I am using a
   text module, or any other module that has a text area. However, if I am using
   a mudule that does not include a text area or has an image/icon then I do not
   see where I can restrict the images/icon. Only the text. How can I restrict other
   modules and their content without a text area to put the short code in? Thank
   you
 * PS…how about hiding/restricintig a menu item to certain levels?

 * Hi abent,
 * Are you asking about restricting only specific modules within the Divi page builder?
   That isn’t something we have experience with or have tested and, as such, we
   couldn’t say with 100% certainty if or how that might be possible. That being
   said, if you say Divi has “text” modules, then, what if you just place one text
   module with the [restricted] shortcode as its content before the module you want
   to hide, and then another after with the [/restricted] shortcode?

 * Ya it only works in the test modules but no other modules. And is there a way
   to restrict entire pages and menu items based on level?

 * Hi abent,
 * You could probably do this, but you’d need to make use of the public functions
   that we’ve made available, which allow you to put conditional restrictions right
   in your theme code. We created a tutorial video that shows these, which you can
   watch here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKiJAjq7PhQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKiJAjq7PhQ).
