Restrictions for users while managing galleries

Great plugin!

I have users that add their own galleries. I use the WP “author” role to do so as per editing the “cool-video-gallery.php” file and changing the “manage_options” roles to make this work. This works but…

Is there a filter I can add to show an author’s own galleries only on the manage gallery page? I am trying to prevent people from deleting or tampering with other authors’ created galleries.

I know functions can be added to filter media and posts from view. Is this possible within your plugin?
