Resubscribe not working

    Hi,

    we are using this plugin for mailchimp integration.

    Subscribing and unsubscribing is working fine.

    Recently a customer reported that he was subscribed to our list and the unsubscribed. some weeks later he decided to subscribe again to our newsletter.

    but he didn’t get neither a confirmation mail from mailchimp nor we could find him in our list.

    any idea, what could be wrong here?

    normally I would suppose that it should work.

    Hey Stefan,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Users who unsubscribe, cannot subscribe again using our plugin. This security feature is setup by MailChimp where they don’t allow users to subscribe again using their API (3rd party plugins). In such a case, the only way to add this user back would be to use the forms hosted by MailChimp.com.

    I will use a form hosted on mailchimp.com then.
