# ReWrite Errors in Dashboard

 * This plugin appears to be broken at the moment. Nothing visually wrong on the
   front end, but when you switch to the WordPress dashboard it causes a bunch of
   Rewrite errors to display.
 * When deactivating everything works fine and the errors disappears. Re-activating
   the plugin shows the following:
 * `The plugin generated 1564 characters of **unexpected output** during activation.
   If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds
   or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.`
 * Errors shown at the top of the WordPress dashboard are the following:
 * `RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}!-
   f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . index.php [L] Order Allow,
   Deny Deny from all Order Allow,Deny Allow from all RewriteEngine On RewriteBase/
   RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond%{
   REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . index.php [L] Order Allow,Deny Deny from 
   all Order Allow,Deny Allow from all RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule
   ^index.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}!-
   d RewriteRule . index.php [L] Order Allow,Deny Deny from all Order Allow,Deny
   Allow from all RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L] RewriteCond%{

 * When the plugin is activated I also cannot search for plugins within the Dashboard.
   Disabling it returns searching to normal.

 * Hello there! 
 * Sorry to hear that you faced such an issue. 
 * But I would like to inform you that I double-checked everything on the latest
   version of the plugin (2.4.9) and haven’t noticed any error messages in my local
   environment. 
 * Besides, these “Rewrite” messages that you see are related to your .htaccess 
   file. Basically, these are rules that are set in the .htaccess file, so our plugin
   can’t cause them to appear on the back end. Unless there’s some kind of conflict
   with any other plugin or theme that you have installed. So in this case, I suggest
   you try to disable other plugins that you have and also try to switch to one 
   of the default WordPress themes. Let me know the result.

 * [@eugenewhite](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eugenewhite/) – I deactivated
   everything on my website, all plugins, etc. and activated **ONLY** your plugin,
   while using the **Divi Theme**, and still see the ReWrite errors. When every 
   other plugin is activated, other than Timetable and Event Schedule, there are
   no errors.
 * I even deleted my .htaccess file and created a new one with the default settings,
   same results. Maybe your plugin has a conflict with the Divi Theme in it’s latest
   releases?
