Role limitation with reply permission not working

Hi, I’m having a problem with this plugin. In practice, in the security settings I have selected that the only users who can reply to messages are those with administrator, editor and tutor roles (a role I created). However, I have noticed that even those who do not have this role (therefore even “normal” users) can respond to messages sent to them. How is this possible? Did I make any settings wrong?
