 * I have currently a website. i’m keen to install wordpress to act as a blog for
   my website. Hence, im confuse whether to install it in a root directory? or its
   better to install it in likw [http://www.abc.com/blog](http://www.abc.com/blog).
   Which will be more SEO friendly? And if its installed in my root directory, will
   there be problem if i want to remove it later on?
 * Thanks in advance

 * Depends upon the subject of your blog and the name of the folder that you install
   it in. For example, a cake-making blog at domain.com/widgets wouldn’t do as well
   as one at domain.com/cakes.
 * You can also install your blog in a sub-folder yet still have it running as if
   it was in your root folder.

 * It sounds like you want to keep your existing site running not using wp to run
   your entire site.
 * If this is the case install wp in it’s own folder.
