 * It seems that you can see ALL comments if you use ../comments/feed/ – so hiding
   the comments with the plugin offers an backdoor – maybe only in 4.0
 * The article and the Article-RSS are blocked, that works fine.
    So thanks for
   the plugin!

 * Thank YOU for squashing 😉 and respect to your work and fast reaction.
 * Logically, now they’re no more feeds to articles with limited access. Maybe they’re
   usecases where users wish to be informed even obout this feeds – respectively
   about the fact that a hidden comment is added. In this case it would be an idea
   not only to hide the entry in the RSS-feed but to export the link to the comment(
   insteadf of the content itself) – which then requires the password.
 * Maybe an idea for 1.3.3 …
 * best regards

 * Just an addendum: version 1.3.3 is out. Comment feeds should now behave the same
   like a regular post (showing you a 404 or sending you to the login or fallback
   page etc.) Anyway, a proper WordPress login cookie would be required to view
   the comment feed. In a browser like firefox this works well, but I am not sure(
   and in fact I doubt) that it will work in a feedreader application.
    Thanks for
   your suggestion, but my primary usecase for the plugin is hiding content, (or
   pretending that a certain content does not exist to the public). Offering a comment
   notification feed (publicly revealing the Post permalink and the number of comments)
   would be counterproductive. But I’m pretty sure there are some tools out there
   covering the use case you mentioned (like email notifications on new comments
   and such). best regards, j.

 * I agree, that in really sensitive cases the notification “would be counterproductive”.
 * best regards
