# RSS Feed Database Connection Error

 * I just realized that when I click my RSS feed page the “Error establishing a 
   database connection” appears.
 * How can I resolve this problem?
 * BTW the website is up and running without problems.

 * The feed is an integral part of WP, and so the feed isn’t going to not work due
   to a DB error while the test of the site does work. What you saw was an intermittent
   database connection error when you happened to go to the feed. If you keep getting
   those errors, talk to your host.

 * Thanks. I’ll contact them to see what’s going on. Interestingly enough feeds 
   for my categories work perfectly.

 * Is there a way that I can force RSS feed to be rebuilt again? This could resolve
   the problem I guess.

 * There’s no problem with wordpress or your feeds or your category feeds. The problem
   is at your webhost. That’s it.
