# RSS feed element

 * Hi,
 * I’m trying to add an RSS feed element so that I don’t have to add snortcode on
   every single post/page individually. I’ve tried several widgets and plugins, 
   but I can’t make any of them work. When I drag the widget over to the sidebar,
   no matter what position, it doesn’t take.
 * The plugins seem too complicated. I don’t want to activate Mailchimp at this 
   point.
 * I just need something simple.

 * Many ways of doing that:
 * 1. add a plugin (which it sounds like you tried)
    2. create a menu link with 
   the RSS feed url 3. use the social menu as your rss feed with an icon (and any
   other social profiles set

 * Thanks. I got a working icon on the sidebar, but it’s not the one I expected.
   I’m looking for the standard RSS quadrant arc icon, but I’ll be damned if I can
   find it.

 * Because this theme uses the font awesome icons, there’s currently two styles 
   available. In the search, enter in rss and you will see what is available.

 * I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The icon works perfectly, but it’s the ‘cog
   wheel’ icon and not the RSS icon and I can’t get the RSS one to show.
