# RSS Feed Error

 * Sometime around when I upgraded to WordPress 3.1 my RSS feed started producing
   an error. One of my readers saw the error on his RSS reader. I see a strange 
   error when I open my RSS feed on Chrome.
 * Here is the page: [http://vpivot.com/feed/](http://vpivot.com/feed/)
 * And here is Chrome’s error:
 * >  This page contains the following errors:
   > error on line 34 at column 291: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding!
   > 
   > Bytes: 0x1F 0x66 0x69 0x67 Below is a rendering of the page up to the first
   > error.
 * When I open the feed in Safari I see no error. And, I am sorry to say, I have
   absolutely no idea where to start on this issue. I’ve opened the feed page in
   Chrome’s Developer-View Source window to see if anything obvious is appearing
   at the location it claims is in error. I don’t see anything.
 * In fact, because I have now checked this on other browsers I would claim this
   to be a Chrome problem. But, as I said, one of my readers saw the issue first
   on some other RSS reader.
 * Can anyone tell me where I could be going wrong?

 * NOt sure what that would be…. looking at your feed in the validator, it doesn’t
   even throw any errors at that location (it does have one other error though)

   line. Thanks!
