# RSS Feed Error message

    my RSS feed at [http://www.blog.lotharevers.com/feed/](http://www.blog.lotharevers.com/feed/)
   is not working. Neither when I call it direct, nor when I try to include it in
   my feedreader at Google.
 * The error message displayed is:
 * >  XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: “Junk” nach Dokument-Element
   >  Adresse: [http://www.blog.lotharevers.com/feed/](http://www.blog.lotharevers.com/feed/)
   > Zeile Nr. 2, Spalte 1:<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?> ^
 * The error occurs with every theme and also if i deactivate all plugins. So the
   problem seems to be at a more general place.
    Usually my idea is to reinstall,
   but if it should be a more common WP 2.2 Issue this would not help. Anybody else
   having this or a similar problem and/or the solution. Thanks a lot! lothar Cologne(

 * Thanks a lot moshu. The moment you wrote how it “sounds” i remebered, that I 
   had been to the index.php in the root dirktore to ha a stats scrpt there. That
   caused the error and now it works again.

 * Well, it looks like I have the same problem, but I haven’t put any spaces in 
   anywhere, that I know of.
 * Can you be more specific on the space? Is it a hard return or just a space? I
   have opened all the files I have been in, but there was no empty spots that I
   can see.

    Could be either of them. And as it was
   discussed above (I think) it could be caused by a space in a plugin file, too.
