 * I assume that you were playing with placing the tracking code via FTP.
 * Please remove everything after closing </html> tag.

 * actually, I do not know where to remove this bit. I have not messed with the 
   RSS feeds on my site before. Is there an actual file on the server? If so, I 
   can not find it. I feel really inadequate when it comes to this. And I added 
   the tracking code a LONG time ago. So I will have to try and remember where I
   added it.
    Maybe I am not being clear? I tend to do that. Let me know if I can
   clarify. I would really love the help!

 * You cannot edit the RSS feed. It’s a “virtual” file – generated on demand. Have
   you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
