# RSS import problem

 * I’d like to import my entries from my old blog via my RSS feed. I tried using
   import-rss.php, but it didn’t work. I don’t know the first thing about RSS feeds,
   but I suspect the problem is that my feed is not xml. It’s RSS 2.0, but the extension
   is php, not xml. Is there some way I can import these entries?

 * RSS 2.0 is xml (or rather, an xml format), and is supported by the RSS import
   script that comes with WordPress. The extension doesn’t matter, but the steps
   you’re taking to save your feed output does. Have you tried accessing your feed
   in your browser and saving that?

   a new WordPress instal ona new server?
    using the RSS feeds?
