 * Greetings,
 * I am using **RSS Multi Import** to gather content from various RSS-feeds and 
   import it into my database as posts (Autopost). However, since this is an automated
   process, it does not let me add tags to the posts.
 * Since I only import the first few sentences of each post, I would like to use
   content and write each of its words to the database as tags. By using a script
   I wrote, I then remove all useless words from the database and only keep usable
   keywords…
 * For example, one of the contents could be “_The first six cars were of questionable
   quality and got destroyed_“. I would like to literally have each of these words
   as tags into the database. My script will (cronjob) remove the words “the,first,
   six,were,of,and,got”, leaving only four tags (**cars**,**questionable**,**quality**,**
   destroyed**).
 * Does anyone know of a way to edit **RSS Multi Importer** so that it also creates
   tags while autoposting?

 * On a related note: I just found out that the plugin RSS Multi Import is no longer
   on the WordPress.org page. If anyone here knows what happened, please let me

 * I am interested in a way to get RSS Multi Importer to auto-tag also.
 * I too recently noticed it’s no longer on here. Sucks, I love this plugin and 
   hope it keeps being developed.

 * While waiting for an aswer on these forums, I am also looking for a solution 
   on another forum. Will let you know if I have any new information. After all,
   RSS Multi Import is a great plugin, but auto-tagging would make it so much more
   powerful! 🙂

 * For what it’s worth: There does not seem to be anyone with an answer. So instead,
   I just use another plugin “Strictly Auto Tags” for this. It needs some tweaking,
   but it does the job!

 * I would love to know if WP RSS Multi Importer is dead or not. I love this plugin!!
   Any recommendations on an alternative? I was looking at WP RSS Aggregator but
   it’s so expensive and I’m not sure how well it works.

 * WP RSS Multi Importer is dead. I’d love to have you [try out WP RSS Aggregator](http://demo.wprssaggregator.com/).
   It has a number of premium add-ons which add a ton of functionality. By making
   the plugin profitable we can make sure that the business survives and we can 
   continue supporting our clients on a daily basis while working on new features
   in the long term.
 * Unfortunately having a plugin of this complexity available totally for free is
   unsustainable, in fact other similar plugins have fallen by the wayside in recent
   months and years as their authors could not justify the time needed for support
   and updates without monetizing them.
