# Rss2 x Atom Date problem

 * When a post is edited a few days later after it was published… Why is it that
   Rss2 always displays on a Feed, the original published date, and Atom displays
   the EDITED date??
 * I don’t like that a bit because if I write posts in different dates, I want them
   to be in order when you look at the actual Feed with the most recent always on
   top.

 * But if Post #2 is edited… Then ATOM (only Atom), displays it like this:

 * While Rss2 keeps it the way it should be.
 * Why does Atom do that and how can I make Atom NOT read the EDITED date anymore..
   only the original published date.
 * If people read my Atom feed, then what I wrote doesn’t make sense if posts are
   all out of order.
