RSVP records purchaser based on notification details, not registration details

    Hi,

    This kind of seems like a bug because the system’s not doing what I expect it to do. 🙂

    When I enter RSVP details (name, email, etc.), I am able to enter a different set of details for notification purposes, and the system records the “purchase” under the notification name/email rather than the RSVP name/email.

    It seems like the details provided for registration should be the ones recorded under the purchase (assuming the whole point of having two sets of details is to allow someone to make a booking on behalf of someone else).

    Or is there something I’m missing?

    Hi inveress,

    Well, sorry to disappoint, that is not a bug. 🙂 This is how the plugin is intended to work.

    Since you are purchasing the ticket, the purchase of the ticket will be recorded under your name.

    Imagine if someone bought a ticket for you as a gift, and the purchase would be recorded under your name… I would find it a bit weird.
