When I duplicate an event, the new event is created as a “draft”. I am unable to view these draft events.
I have stripped the site down by disabling all non-relevant plugins and changing themes.
I have followed all the suggested “steps”, but no matter what I have tried, draft events remain hidden.
I have looked at the database using PHPMyAdmin in an attempt to “publish” or delete them, but I don’t see these events anywhere. Can anyone please help me locate them or suggest reasons they go missing?

It sounds like you’re using an external plugin or utility to create these duplicates, which is creating a new copy in the post table but without assigning an event date record in the rsvpmaker_event table. What would work better is to create an event template for each event that you want to create multiple copies of. In the RSVPMaker posts listing, you should see Copy to New Template as one of the options displayed when you hover your mouse over the title. Or you could go to Event Templates, one of the submenus under RSVP Events on the admin dashboard, and click Add New to create one from scratch.

An Event Template is an internal document not associated with any particular date, although it can be associated with a recurring schedule like First Tuesday or Every Friday at a certain time, allowing the system to calculate the related dates. If there’s no regular schedule for the event type, you can leave the schedule as “Varies” and just specify the specific date or dates when you create events.

See this documentation for more on event templates.
