Run import from linux cron

    I am using version 1.9.9.8

    Is it possible to set up the import run explicitly? I know I can get wp-cron to run from a linux crontab. But if the import is scheduled hourly it won’t run until it’s time. I’d like it to run whenever I think it should, perhaps more often than hourly.
    Or can the update be invoked by a wget or curl command?

    @charlesgodwin,

    No, in this current version you cannot do it: call from wget/curl to an URL or something similar.

    The wp-cron will run as fast, hourly.

    If you want to call plugin cron task from an url or make period shorter, tell me to the mail I have sent you in the other thread an we start talking also about it: contacto AT codection DOT com.
