 * Hello Michael,
 * First off thank for creating this plugin. It’s been a godsend to us.
 * I recently updated the Advanced iframe plugin to version 5.4 on our site and
   since then we’ve had a weird issue come up. There is a particular page that we
   use the plugin for which requires the url to https. However when looking at the
   published page the url in the source uses http. Unfortunately if http is used
   instead of https the page in the iframe forwards back to that sites home page.
   We’re concerned since the only way to get to the page we want is if you have/
   know the actual url.
 * Are there any thoughts or solutions that I might try?
 * Best Regards,
 * Brian

 * So you add the url with https as shortcode arribute as src?
    And have you checked
   in the sourceode of the page already if the s is really removed or if there is
   the redirect maybe insode the iframe?
 * Because I don’t modify the url. I only add parameters if this is configured…
 * Feel free to post an url if you have this public already.
 * Best, Michael

 * Hello Michael,
 * Yes I added the url with with https in the src, I’ve also double checked url
   in Advanced iframe default settings page to make sure that both had the proper
   url.
 * here is the shortcode and the page url:
 * `[advanced_iframe securitykey="da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd80710" src="
   https://www.kincocustomer.com/request/" id="advanced_iframe_reseller_request"
   name="reseller_request" width="940" height="700" scrolling="" marginwidth=""
   marginheight=""]`
 * [http://www.kinco.com/resellers/reseller-new-account/](http://www.kinco.com/resellers/reseller-new-account/)
 * Also I created a simple HTML page with an iframe to see if there was some sort
   of redirect happening. The iframe loaded the page correctly.
 * Best regards’

 * Hi,
 * I just used your shortcode with my security key and https is used.
    So it should
   work fine.
 * But where do you want to go?
    because here you post [https://www.kincocustomer.com/request/](https://www.kincocustomer.com/request/)
   but in your page you have [http://www.kincocustomer.com/request](http://www.kincocustomer.com/request)
 * and the / at the end does make a difference!
    Maybe this is your Problem.
 * Best, Michael

 * Hello again,
 * Uggghhh I’m terribly sorry that I didn’t notice this earlier. While the link
   in the default settings was correct, but the link in the shortcode was wrong.
   The actual url is:
 * [https://www.kincocustomer.com/request](https://www.kincocustomer.com/request)
 * I’ve fixed the url in the shortcode, but the issue still remains. The page still
   renders the link as [http://www.kincocustomer.com/request](http://www.kincocustomer.com/request)
   which redirects back to the homepage.
 * Sorry again about the mistake and confusion,
 * Brian

 * I don’t have this problem. Which browser do you use?
    Because what you have is
   mixed content and more and more browsers do restrict this. You have tried this
   with a simple iframe. Also in wordpress? With the same browser?
