• Worked OK before upgrading to WP 4.4 and s2Member 151210
(kicking myself for not testing in between those two updates)

The following shortcode is inside a widget. It worked before, but now fails to be interpreted. The actual shortcode string gets displayed on the page.

    <p class="txtcenter">Your membership level is
    [s2Get constant="S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_ACCESS_LABEL" /]</p>

    Ideas?
    Thanks!

  • Hmm, just copied and pasted this into a widget on a couple of different sites, and it’s working fine, so I assume you must have a conflict somewhere.

    At these levels: WP 4.4 and s2Member 151210 ?

    Thanks

Yes, and I’ve tried it both as an admin user and at a lower level (level 2, to be exact). I’ve also tried it in a couple of different browsers (albeit not Chrome).

    OK. Thanks very much KTS915.
Gotta go search for Waldo now. 🙂

    Appreciate your help!

Found Waldo! After deactivating every plugin not directly associated with the theme, the problem persisted. Then, the theme…

The problem is indeed inside the theme I´m using on that site, some sort of inconsistency between that theme and 4.4. Dropping back to WP 4.3.1 resolves the problem. Returning to WP 4.4, the problem manifests again.

This version of the theme, JumpStart 1.2 from Theme BLVD, has been superseded. I don´t yet know if the problem still exists in JumpStart 2.0

Thanks again KTS915 for your testing!
