 * Hey guys!
 * So you know, I like the plugin and use it on a number of sites. I have a site
that is going a different route with serving files, but I cannot figure out how
to safely remove the plugin? I found a page showing how to uninstall on your
   site ([https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/uninstall/](https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/uninstall/)),
but I don’t see some of the options here? Like the download from server button,
   etc.
 * How can I safely uninstall this plugin, and get the files back on my site, and
served from there, instead of S3?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsafely-removing-plugin%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * As long as you haven’t turned on the “Remove Files From Server” option, then
you should be able to simply turn off the “Rewrite Media URLs” setting, save
changes, and then test all is ok with the site now that it is using local URLs.
 * If ok, you’re safe to uninstall WP Offload Media Lite, and then cleanup the database
records etc. as per the guide you linked to.
 * If you’ve used the “Remove Files From Server” option, then you’ll need to download
you media from the bucket and put it back in your site’s uploads folder in the
same path as expected by your media’s `_wp_attachment_metadata` and `_wp_attached_file`
   records.
 * WP Offload Media has “Download all files from bucket” and “Remove all files from
bucket” tools that do this for you.
