 * Hello,
 * I disabled “Enable default title” to show an custom caption with ALT text for
   a series of images.
 * But, it seems that if are a number of images of the same page with the same ALT
   text, the plug in switches back to the file name on the second image, instead
   of repeating the caption I have chosen.
 * Huhh… Is it such a bad practice to have the same ALT text for a series of images?
 * I felt that it would be simple and elegant to have the Post title as a caption,
   and then “Item %current% of %total%” next to it.
 * Any solution to this?
 * Thank you
    Nicolas

 * Ah! I should have looked more thouroughly – sorry.
 * I seems that it works sometimes, and other times not.
 * Maybe something in some file names that makes it fail to pick the ALT text instead?
 * Is there a documentation for the “Enable default title” disabling somewhere ?
   Sorry if there is one, I couldn’t find it…
 * Best – sorry again for not checking enough before writing.

 * Hi, disabling the default title should stop the display of WordPress’ auto-generated
   title for all uploaded media. If you are not seeing this, please provide a link
   to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to
   take a closer look.
 * Also note that SLB primarily acts upon **links**, which may or may not contain
   images. As such, while an image’s `alt` attribute is one of the values used as
   a fallback for the lightbox’s title, a link’s own attribute’s will have higher
   priority.
 * See [SLB’s documentation on title precedence](https://github.com/archetyped/simple-lightbox/wiki/Metadata#title-precedence)
   for full details how the lightbox’s title is determined for a link.

 * Hello,
 * Thank you very much for the message and the link.
 * I solved the issue using the title attribute.
 * Now I understand how it works.
 * Best regards,
    Nicolas
