# Same Post Name Different Category

 * Is it possible to have Multiple Posts with the same name but have different Categories?
 * When I try to do this the permalink changes the duplicate post. It adds a “2”
   at the end of it. How can I get ride of the “2”? There should be no conflict 
   since they are different Categories and do not have the same url.
 * Example (categories are Dallas & Las Vegas):

 * Why don’t you select two categories for you post?
    Because at the end, each post
   must have a different ID, regardless of the rest of the permalink. In your database,
   each post is registered with the ID, not the permalink…
