 * Is there a way to get an XML of the sample content that’s used to preview themes
   on WordPress.org itself, or something similar?

 * WPCandy has a rather nice [sample content XML file](http://wpcandy.com/articles/easier-theme-development-with-the-sample-post-collection.html)
   available for download. It covers a lot of the critical bases, and comes in handy
   for theme development.
