    Hi!

First of all, thanks for your effort on that plugin. It makes easier the DHL connection.

I’m trying the Sandbox Mode, but it did stop work a few weeks ago. I could create some dummy labels, but it’s not working anymore.

Even with the manual PDF generation, it says:

    Error creating label:

    • ( billingNumber ) : The selected billing number is invalid.

It may be a problem with the account on production, but in sandbox mode it should be working.

Also, I can’t see the DHL options in the cart, it seems like the whole plugin is broken or not connected.

    More info.

    Hi @davi91,

Thanks for your feedback and the additional details.

To fix the billing number issue in Sandbox mode for now:

    • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > DHL Paket > DHL Products and Participation Number.
    • Under DHL Paket, please change the participation number to the one ending with 02 (instead of 01).

This should allow you to create labels without the billing number error.

We’re also actively working on a plugin update that will automatically fetch and update the correct product and participation numbers directly from the DHL account settings dashboard to avoid this issue in the future.
We’ll let you know as soon as this update is available.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding!

Yay thanks, that worked for manual label generation, but it still not working on orders. We have not label attached to the customer.

Maybe we approach is quite different, we’re fixing stuff, so we need the client to send us the stuff for being repaired. It’s doable to generate and send a label on purchase to the customer so he can send us the stuff?

    Hi @davi91,

Thanks for your message, glad to hear manual label generation is working now.

Unfortunately, the current version of the DHL plugin does not support generating and automatically attaching a return label to the customer upon order placement. The plugin is designed for outbound shipping from the store to the customer, not for customer-initiated returns or reverse logistics workflows.

However, we’ll think about this internally and see if it’s something we might want to support in the future.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.

    Best regards,
