I am seeing the same after a recent update.
@rmedias Glad it’s not just me. I disabled all plugins (except Contact Form 7) to try to troubleshoot, still seeing the same issue. It’s a bit tough to try to debug using browser or WP native tools, since the problem seems to be “interstitial”, in an empty space between any actual page or element I can access. Hoping there’s a fix soon! It’s keeping my form from submitting properly as I need to make a change to the sender address but can’t!
What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?
Theme is:
Catch BaseVersion: 3.4.5
By Catch Themes
Plugins:
Elementor
Jetpack
WP Super Cache (by Automattic)
Simple Custom CSS (by John Regan)
CONTACT FORMS 7
However, I’ve done my diligence before contacting this forum and disabled the plugins one by one (read previous comment) and am still experiencing the same issue, so I’m almost certain it’s not a plugin conflict.
Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, and clearing all cache data.
Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.
FYI
I have checked (one character) edits to the form tab, the mail tab and messages tab, any change will not save.
Generating a new contact form works, it is the process of saving edits that causes the issue.
I’ve already deactivated the plugins (as I mentioned in an earlier comment) and that didn’t help fix things. Yes, of course I tried clearing all cache data as well. However, upon switching the theme to WP 2019 (a “default” theme), I was in fact able to fix the issue. That said, I’d rather keep my theme and find a new Contact Form than rearrange my entire site to make a theme work with the Contact Form 7 Plugin. Make sense? So, knowing that there seems to be a conflict with the Catch Base Theme, are you able to debug the plugin to make it work with said theme? Or should I just find another form plugin? Honest question.
