 * thanks for this fantastic plugin, helped alot with resolving my PageSpeed issues.
 * Just a question – I read on the FAQ the following
    My cache is getting huge,
   doesn’t Autoptimize purge the cache? Autoptimize does not have its proper cache
   purging mechanism, as this could remove optimized CSS/JS which is still referred
   to in other caches which would break your site.
 * You can however keep the cache size at an acceptable level by excludinng JS-variables(
   or sometimes CSS-selectors) that change on a per page (or per pageload) basis.
   You can read how you can do that in this blogpost.
 * However, on the settings page there is the option to “Save Changes and Empty
   Cache” – So has Autoptimize been updated to empty the cache.. or not yet?

 * If you press “save & empty cache” the cache is effectively emptied entirely,
   but that’s a one off action triggered by you, not an automatic job running e.
   g. every week. But pressing “save & empty cache” every month could indeed also
   help you limit disk usage of AO’s cache.
 * hope this helps,

 * thanks frank! that explains (:
 * is it recommended to Empty Cache whenever I install or delete plugins as well
   so Autoptimize can delete the cache and regenerate updated ones?

 * when you install new plugins which add CSS/JS to your blog, autoptimize will
   automatically pick up on those so new files will be generated. so emptying cache
   is not needed for that, but it would off course be helpful to keep the cache
   size as small as possible.

 * thanks Frank!
 * just one more question – any idea how Autoptimize manages the custom css from
   Jetpack? I’m about to enable it as a module in Jetpack – not sure if I have to
   empty my cache etc

 * I try to avoid JetPack (call me old-fashioned), but either the CSS is inlined,
   in which case AO will automatically create new files in cache, or the CSS is
   in an external, dynamic file (i.e. .php) and AO will leave it be. So I would
   enable custom CSS, test and clear AO cache in case of issues.

 * thanks frank (:
 * yea it has been quite a debate on jetpack but it provides quite a number of useful
   features for me so I’ll keep it for now.
 * thank you!

    not sure if this is within your scope but I have tried testing my site on
   gtmetrix and it seems like they are asking me to further minify/compress HTML/
   CSS/JS – any thoughts?

 * and one more question – is there any setting I must be aware of to make this
   work with Cloudflare?
 * Thank you so much frank!

 * Well, only thing I can think of now is to make sure not to have other plugins
   doing what AO is already doing (i.e. minification). After that it’s enabling
   Cloudflare (which I’m not a huge fan of either, to be honest) and seeing what
   the impact is.

 * thanks frank!
 * just to check for AO, there’s a field for CDN – should I input anything there
   now that I have Cloudflare enabled?

 * No, the CDN-box only applies to pull CDN’s, which Cloudflare is not.
 * kind regards,
    frank
