 * Hi,
 * Seems that I managed to discover a bug in WordPress. I use version 5.1.1, but
   this one might be on many more.
    If you create a new post and type “DB_NAME()”(
   without quotes) you will NOT be able to save! Try it yourself. Since I am writing
   blogs about databases, I often paste a SQL code which includes DB_NAME function.
   Now I cannot, I must paste the code as a picture, because of this bug, and my
   users will have to manually type SQL code instead of copy-paste. Can someone
   try and confirm it is a general BUG in WordPress 5.x?
 * Thanks
    Vedran

 * This might help…
 * My Classic editor has the TinyMCE advanced plugin features added to it. I’ve
   never used the ‘code’ item on it but that might be the best idea. WordPress is
   supposed to ignore anything inside of the ‘code’ segment or pane by just treating
   it as text.
 * I can’t remember but I also thought ‘code’ was a part of the old editor and I
   wouldn’t be surprised to find it in the Block editor also. I must admit I don’t
   use the Block Editor very much.
 * BTW: Neat website. I bookmarked it. Thanks!

 * Thanks! Can you please try creating a post with text “This is example: SELECT
   MyDb=DB_NAME()” and see if save draft fails?

 * I did it and it worked using the classic editor [http://64.52.163.206/wordpress/2019/03/18/test-post/](http://64.52.163.206/wordpress/2019/03/18/test-post/)
 * And the block editor. [http://64.52.163.206/wordpress/2019/03/18/test-post-with-block-editor/](http://64.52.163.206/wordpress/2019/03/18/test-post-with-block-editor/)
 * I needed to test something there anyway using the block editor.
